Project Manager
After graduating from the University of Tasmania, Australia, with a degree in Theatre Production in 1999, Jessie received the university's Theatrical Development Award, and began working at the university as an Associate Lecturer in drama.
She then worked at Screen Tasmania as its Administrator, where she was also given the opportunity to direct The Longest Night Film Festival, (a 10 day festival run by Screen Tasmania). In 2004 she relocated to Sydney and began working with Rosemary Blight, Ben Grant and Kylie du Fresne at RB Films (now Goalpost Pictures), in various roles across all of the company's projects including the feature film CLOSED FOR WINTER directed by James Bogle, LOCKIE LEONARD (52 x 1/2hr series), STEPFATHER OF THE BRIDE (telemovie), and SMALL CLAIMS 2 & 3 (telemovies). In 2006 Jessie was Associate Producer and Music Supervisor on Cherie Nowlan's feature film CLUBLAND, and in 2007 the Co-producer of Julien Temple's film opera THE ETERNITY MAN.
In 2008 Jessie produced Deborah Mailman's short film RALPH, as part of the ABC/Screen NSW/ Screen Australia New Black initiative, which received the 2009 IF Award for best short film. In early 2009 she relocated to London to undertake the role of Project Manager at Goalpost Film.
