Nicki Parfitt qualified as a solicitor in 1993 at Denton Hall. In 1995 she joined Pearson Television as the Head of Legal and Business Affairs for Production in continental Europe and Latin America. She then joined Portman Entertainment in 1998 as a board director and Head of Business Affairs. During that time Portman became established as a prominent packager, executive producer and sales agent of international feature films including Saving Grace and Bloody Sunday. In 2001 Nicki joined Lee & Thompson as a partner, working in all areas of film and television finance, production and distribution. Her clients included leading UK film sales agents, distributors and financiers such as Odyssey Entertainment, Optimum Releasing and Baker Street Media Finance.
