Tristan Whalley

Co-Managing Director

As Director of Marketing and Distribution for Majestic Films and Television International for seven years, Tristan Whalley handled the marketing and distribution of over 50 titles including the Oscar winners DRIVING MISS DAISY and DANCES WITH WOLVES. With Kevin Costner and Jim Wilson's company, he also executive produced HEAD ABOVE WATER. He then joined Portman Entertainment for six years, where he handled the sales and marketing of SAVING GRACE and executive produced and sold Paul Greengrass' BLOODY SUNDAY and other films such as INTERMISSION, OMAGH, ANITA AND ME, BULLET BOY and A WAY OF LIFE.

Tristan and his Co-Executive Director Nicki Parfitt joined forces in 2006 to establish Goalpost Film, a worldwide sales, financing and marketing company which executive produces and enables independent feature films. The Company's first film, CLUBLAND produced by Rosemary Blight, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2007, securing substantial sales to Warner Independent and other major distributors internationally. Goalpost's second film, THE ESCAPIST, directed by Rupert Wyatt and starring Brian Cox and Joe Fiennes, premiered at Sundance 2008 and again has secured substantial international sales.

Tristan is a producer of the upcoming feature film LITTLE SISTER (USA/China), the first telling of the Cinderella story, shot entirely in mainland China.
